Do I need to see a dentist before getting dentures?
Usually, but not always.
If you are getting replacement dentures, you may not need to see a dentist first.
If you are getting dentures for the first time or require teeth to be removed, you will need to see your dentist for an oral health check. Your dentist will confirm which teeth need to be extracted or whether your remaining teeth are suitable to support a partial denture.
Your dentist will then provide an oral health certificate, which allows us to begin your denture treatment.
How much do dentures cost?
The cost of dentures can vary depending on the type of denture and the work required.
Because every mouth is different, we recommend coming in for a free consultation so we can assess your needs and provide an accurate quote.
We can also provide quotes for WINZ and insurance if required.
What payment options are available?
We aim to make denture treatment as accessible as possible. We accept a range of payment options and can assist with quotes if needed.
We accept:
- EFTPOS and card payments
- WINZ quotes
- Insurance quotes
We require payment on completion of work.
If you’re unsure what you may be eligible for, feel free to contact us and we can explain the process.

Do dentures look natural?
Modern dentures are designed to look very natural.
We carefully select denture teeth based on age, face shape, skin tone, and personal preference. You will also have a wax try-in appointment where you can see how your dentures will look before they are finished.
Will my dentures feel strange at first?
Yes, this is completely normal.
Your mouth needs time to adjust to a new denture. Some people experience pressure points or small sore spots in the early days.
If this happens, a simple adjustment (called an ease) can usually resolve the problem quickly.
How long does it take to get dentures made?
Making a new set of dentures usually takes several appointments over a few weeks.
This allows us to take impressions, record your bite, and complete a wax try-in so you can see how your dentures will look before they are finished.
Can I eat normally with dentures?
Once you have adjusted to your dentures, most people are able to eat comfortably again.
It may take a little time to get used to them, and starting with softer foods is often helpful in the early days.
Do you offer free consultations?
Yes. We offer free, no-obligation consultations so you can discuss your options and decide what type of denture may suit you best.
Do you accept WINZ or insurance quotes?
Yes. We can provide quotes for WINZ and insurance claims if required.
Do you offer same-day services??
Yes, depending on the service required.
We offer same-day relines, and many denture repairs can often be completed within 2–3 hours.
Relines need to be prebooked.
How do I clean my dentures?
Dentures should be cleaned daily using a denture brush and denture cleaner or soapy water.
Avoid using regular toothpaste, as it can be too abrasive and may damage the denture surface.
Regular cleaning helps keep your dentures fresh and your mouth healthy.
How long do dentures last?
Dentures can last many years with proper care. Over time, your gums and jawbone naturally change shape, which means dentures may eventually become loose. If you have any questions or concerns about your dentures, feel free to give us a call, we are always happy to help.
What if my denture feels loose?
If your denture feels loose, it may be time for a reline.
As your gums change shape over time, dentures can lose their fit. A reline reshapes the inside surface of the denture so it fits your mouth more comfortably again.
Note: if it is a lower denture, a reline may help improve the fit but will not eliminate all movement.
What should I do if my denture breaks?
If your denture cracks or breaks, please do not superglue it back together.
Bring it in to us so we can assess it. In many cases, repairs can be completed within a few hours.
What if I feel embarrassed about my teeth?
Many people feel this way, and you are not alone.
We see patients every day who are looking for help with their smile. Our goal is simply to help you feel comfortable and confident again.
Can I sleep with my dentures in?
It is usually recommended to remove your dentures at night. This allows your gums to rest and helps keep your mouth healthy. Dentures should be cleaned and stored in water overnight, and soaked in a denture solution about once a week.
